Since it is a poriouse stone, it needs to be sealed properly, but once it is sealed, it will hold any daily activities in the kitchen, even hot pans can be left on granite and it won’t leave any marks. This makes granite an ideal choice for countertops. Quartz is about 92% natural. Quarts countertops are man-made engineered by combining 90% natural hard mineral (crushed stone) with 8-10% resins, polymers and pigments. The combination forms granite-like surface.
